Because people kept picking me up and taking me away as a duck . . . it was difficult to get away.

[Like a pet? Well, it's not the worst thing that could happen...but still inconvenient. And there are worse things that could happen. Having others who can help in those events isn't a bad idea. It's a good idea, in fact.

So why does he feel reluctant? Well, he doesn't know these people, or at least not well. That's all, of course.

He probably can't question them all first, right? That'd be too suspicious.]

[ ahiru relaxes. she had been on the fence, but if fakir thinks so, then it's not a terrible idea. ]

Oh, there's Varian, Fern, Luca, Luz, Rapunzel and Mr. Reaper.

[He is absolutely writing this down as she says the names.]

That's his name. He's big and smokey and looks a bit scary, but he's actually quite nice!

He said he'll build me a practice room for dancing.

[...That is nice? Okay, Mr. Reaper gets a trial period at least.]

Probably close to the house. I have to help him with building it first.

[He is somewhat visibly relieved. Research surely can't go that wrong.]
